Published quarterly, Journal of Geriatric Cardiology is a journal, sponsored by Institute of Geriatric Cardiology, Chinese PLA General Hospital, designed for both practicing clinicians and research workers with a subspecialty in geriatric cardiology throughout the world. JGC publishes original peer-reviewed clinical and experimental reports on all aspects of cardiovascular disease in the elderly. Topics covered include coronary heart disease, systemic hypertension, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy, multi-organ diseases (cardiovascular diseases with kidney diseases, lung diseases and gut diseases; etc), congestive heart failure, arrhythmia, preventive cardiology, drug treatment, new diagnostic techniques, findings from the laboratory, and large multicenter studies of new therapies. Also included are case reports, brief reports, editorials and readers' comments, health news and classified information. Symposia, clinical and research reviews and updates, editorial commentary, and letters are regular features.
